14 May May 17th – The International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia
On the occasion of International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia, The Coalition ‘Sexual and health rights of marginalized communities“ organizes a film screening and a discussion in the GEM club, on May17th, 2012, Thursday, starting from 19:30 hours.
‘Bent’ (1997) is adapted film version of the play written by Martin Sherman and directed by Sean Mathias. The movie is ingenious account of the persecution of homosexuals in Nazi Germany incorporating disturbing story of violence, resistance, love and identity.
The film screening will be followed by a discussion on ‘Nationalism, (biopolitics) and homosexuality.’ Guests of the discussion will be: Professor Ljubomir Frckovski, Artan Sadiku and Velimir Zernovski.
After the discussion we invite you to join us on a cocktail party in Menada.
