Pride Week in Skopje

The coalition”Sexual and health rights of the marginalized communities” and LGBT United in cooperation LGBTI Support Center and LesFem are honored to announce the Pride Week which will take place from 22nd until 27th of June 2013 in Skopje. The Pride week is being organized as a symbolic mark of the Stonewall riots and June 27th – The International day of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride.

 

The Pride week will have several evens, debates and film screenings connected to different issues which affect LGBT people in Macedonia.

 

 

June 22nd, Saturday

Screening of short videos about trans people in Macedonia and discussion on the topic Health rights of the transgender persons

 

June 24th Monday,

13:30 h. Hotal Arka

 

Discussion with the representatives from the parliament, institutions and civil organizations on the topic: Discrimination and hate speech based on sexual orientation and gender identity

 

June 25th Tuesday

Screening of the film How to survive a plague

Lesbian family night

Screening of the film Family Meals (2012) and discussion on the topic Lesbians, family and Friends
